Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization of the All-Russian Public Organization “All-Russian Society of Disabled People” based its working and service on the Standing Order.The main objectives of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization are:
— protection disabled peoples’ rights and interests;
— ensuring disabled people the same with other citizens opportunities to partake in all spheres of life;
— integration disabled people into society.
5th July, 1988 is an important date of Constituent conference, when Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization was founded, and Vladimir Tarasenko, the first chairman, was elected.
From 2001 till 2011 Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization was under the guidance of Anatoly Kudryavtsev.
Nowadays Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization’s chairman is Galina Zimenko, and our Organization performs a lot of important social tasks:
— employment and education of disabled people- social and cultural rehabilitation and integration;
— development of adaptive and Paralympic sport;
— disabled children’ support;
— legal support of disabled people.
Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization helps young disabled people in getting education and re-education. More than 2.5 ths. disabled people take part in cultural, entertaining, recreational and sport events.
Every year Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization initiates and organizes disabled peoples’ sport competitions named Spartakiada. Krasnoyarsk athletes and sport-teams take part and win in regional, national and world sports competitions.
Also, our Organization creates different art-festivals, exhibitions, shows and fairs, for example: ParaArtiada “Siberian Youth”, “Choir’ Battle”, “Invalid’s decade” and ets.
Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization is a member of federal program “Accessible Surroundings”. The main goal of this program is making free and unobstructed access for disabled people to the different social, medical, cultural and governmental institutes.
